A guy in my Social Psychology tute signs every single email he sends a different way. It started off with Harry *Surname*, progressed to Harry ‘my hair is like clouds’ *Surname*, peaked at Harry ‘Sexy Tables’ *Surname* and has just reached the point of HazDaddy. You can tell our report is due soon.
Seen it around a couple of places, but blows my mind every time.
You know what’s really great? When you tell a friend that you are there for them no matter what and you will do whatever it takes to help them if/when they ever need it. And they take you up on it.
It’s so so great to know that you’re someone they trust enough to turn to.

On today’s episode of what am I doing with my life is a round of starting volunteering with FBi and being asked to train for the music library (they have over 26k CDs in there it’s amazeballs) and going to defamation briefing for uni radio which is rad and all self controlled and makes me happy.
Throw in a dose of existential crisis, dreaming about my ex best friend killing themselves, running around and following one of my current favourite people in the world while they disappeared into the night with all my stuff right before it’s time to leave, hipsters waffling on about coachella and urgh so great
Ok, here’s a rundown of the last couple of days.
Friday morning I was awake before 6 to get to start work at 8. A friend of mine was graduating so at the end of an 8 hr shift, I had dinner, drink and dancing to look forward to.
While I’m dressing people for their grad ceremonies, I like to chat to them/make things less awkward. There’s this one particular science student who is wearing a jumper and it’s super awkward to attach his colours to his shirt because of said jumper. We laugh about it.
Late afternoon I get asked to come in Sat morning for another 8am start on what is the single weekend day we (ie 3 people that aren’t me) work all year. May as well, I’m crashing at college anyway.
Dressing for the last ceremony and while I’m asking what they do now, this IT student says he’s working for the uni. I ask if it’s the timetabling centre, and he replies ‘Yes’. I ask if he knows ______ and of course he does, then follows by asking how I know them. ‘Well this is kinda awkward, but we used to be friends.’ At this moment I wonder if telling the truth is really the best policy but hey, I mention what a stand up guy my ex-(best)friend was and then thankfully the grad was fully dressed and ready to go.

At dinner, I sat opposite someone I didn’t know but they seemed mighty familiar. Yep, it was cute awkward jumper guy from 10 hours ago at work. We talked. A lot. A lot a lot.
Drank pink champagne and cocktails and some energy drink something, crashed a birthday party, danced through a foam party, got back to college around 4 and fell asleep mid sentence in my friend’s room. Work alarm went off and walked the 6 mins to work, regretting that I don’t live at college 24/7 because it would make work and uni SO CLOSE.
Work is in 6 hours and I’m still at a club haha

Guilty as charged
Once I got an airbrush tattoo on my arm that was my nickname in this funky gothic typeface because some girls at school were doing them to raise money for charity and I went home and my parents FLIPPED OUT BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT IT WAS REAL.
Yes Mum, I thought it wise at 14 to get my name all over my arms in an egotistical pilgrimage to myself and still managed to get home on time and not complain about any pain!

This is why Matt’s voice has been compared to every type of whiskey. Very classic sound, love it! Perhaps an awkward end, feels as though it dies without resolving itself.
